Is it possible that any update from Windows is causing the issue? I am so fed up of doing all the things but can't work it out. My Gigabyte X79 motherboard too uses Renesas 3.0 for its USB 3.0 ports (rear only in my case) and I found newer firmware and drivers for Renesas that. I don't know why it was working fine when I freshly installed it. I googled the issue like millions of times but couldn't come up with any concrete information. I went to the driver downloads regarding Bluetooth for Win 8.1 too, but it seems there aren't specific to 8.1, although you can select the OS for which you want the driver but it keeps showing the Bluetooth driver for Win7 only. I suspected it to be a motherboard issue but when I have ran the same setup with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, everything started working again normally. The blue LED at the back of the module also been OFF, however there are no issues with WiFi as such, its still working fine. But recently I am facing issues with the BT-GO Bluetooth module, both Wifi and Bluetooth were working fine after sometime of installation but now somehow the Bluetooth has stopped working.
